Never Resist
A sweet & wonderful Pastor (Rev. Bob Graber) we worked for many years ago often told us to
“Never resist a generous impulse.”
He & his adorable wife have lived by this motto.
Over the years my husband has added this comment after it:
“You can be sure that this impulse is from God because it’s His nature,
not our human nature, to be generous!”

Hey, I just said this the other day, quoting Pastor Chilly!
(Now I’ll know who the original quote is from! Thanks!) I have been on the receiving end a lot lately, with time at least. So many friends have been so generous with their time while we’ve had a few rough months, and I am so thankful! I’ve been on the giving end as well lately and it gives SO much joy! It seems counterintuitive, giving something away like you’re supposed to miss it, but really finding you didn’t need it anyway and are so much more blessed without it! Thanks for the encouraging post!
